Thank you for all you have done for John. You have enabled him to touch a depth inside himself that has empowered him to want to fight to stop or combat the addiction. When he said that, when this was over he wanted to go back and volunteer at the centre! Obviously you did make an impression!
Your words of support enabled us as a family to understand and cope better. It's like rebirthing, an altering of our existence as we know it. The pain of your child I think is one of the worse pains to carry in a lifetime. I am blessed that the right people crossed our paths to aid John. It's a long haul but good, strong beginnings help future challenges.
